Meniko Hamukai (食飼 命日子, Hamukai Meniko) is a college friend of Koyomi Araragi.
Appearance[]
In the anime adaptation, Meniko has blue eyes, slightly curled violet blueish hair of medium length and glasses. Slightly small in stature, she stands a bit shorter than Koyomi.
Personality[]
Meniko is an eccentric mathematics student majoring in cryptography. She is another one of the few friends of Koyomi's with no known attachment to oddities. Koyomi describes her as "a bit of an oddball, though not as odd as him."
She often refers to him as "Araragi-chan" and greets him with a Spanish hello: "Hola." She has trouble breaking from her schedule, so she'll regularly attend class by herself even if it was canceled. This habit of hers is what lead to her meeting Koyomi for the first time.
